Ourika, sensual and spicy.
A newcomer in Cire Trudon’s Collection of Les Belles Matières, Ourika is a sensual escape, an exploration of iris’ spicy character.
Grown in fertile valleys and gardens since Antiquity, iris also played a role in the Egyptian mythology: highly symbolic, iris is associated to Horus, the falcon God that brings the sky and the earth together.
At the base of the High Atlas Mountains, the Ourika Valley is where it flourishes: iris thrives on sun and an essentially pure rural life.
La Belle Matière Ourika marries a floral head note composed of gardenia, rose and magnolia with the spicy notes of benzoin and pink peppercorns to highlight iris’ sensual and powdery nature.
