Two mischievous pigs form the body of this rare French porcelain double condiment holder. With their snouts facing forward and a gilt-edged handle between, the piece was likely designed for salt and pepper or mustard and relish service.

Dating to the turn of the century, these humorous table accessories were part of a popular tradition of figural porcelain in both France and Germany. A collector’s delight with playful character.
