Two World-Class Art Exhibits in One Day

If you're planning a trip to Malmö, be sure to check out two world-class art exhibits happening in the city from September 23 to October 1st.

Tal R & Mamma Andersson – Runtom Hill

This exhibit at the Malmö Konstmuseum features new works by two of the Nordics' most important contemporary artists, Tal R and Mamma Andersson. The artists have taken the peculiar world of motifs by Carl Fredrik Hill as a point of departure and transformed it into their own unique style.

Tal R is a Danish-Israeli artist known for his colorful and expressive paintings. His work often explores themes of identity, memory, and the subconscious. Mamma Andersson is a Swedish artist who is known for her dark and often disturbing paintings. Her work often deals with themes of violence, loss, and the human condition.

This exhibit runs through October 1.

MOKI CHERRY: A Journey Eternal

This exhibit at the Moderna Museet Malmö features the work of Moki Cherry, a Swedish-American artist who was known for her colorful and eclectic art. Cherry's work unites painting, sculpture, textiles, fashion, and set design. Her work often explored themes of identity, culture, and the environment.

The exhibit features a wide range of Cherry's work, from paintings and sculptures to textiles and fashion designs. The exhibit also includes a number of personal objects from Cherry's life, such as her passport and her sewing machine.
