Refund policy

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

New goods may be exchanged or issued as store credit within 14 days of delivery confirmation. Store credit is valid for one year from the date of issue.

All candles, estate items, paper goods, textiles, pre-order items, special orders, and holiday décor are final sale.

Proof of purchase must be presented.

We do not offer cash refunds to original payment methods.


CONDITION OF RETURNS

Items must be returned unused, in original condition, and in original packaging. Items showing signs of wear, use, alteration, or damage not caused during transit will not be eligible for exchange or store credit.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.


ANTIQUE & ESTATE ITEMS

Estate and antique objects are sold as-is and may show signs of age, patina, wear, or historical restoration consistent with their history. These characteristics are inherent to antique goods and are not considered defects.

All estate items are final sale.


SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Shipping fees are non-refundable.

Orders are shipped to the address provided at checkout. Customers are responsible for ensuring that all shipping information is accurate and complete. BON TON goods is not responsible for delivery issues resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information submitted at purchase.

Delivery is considered complete once the carrier confirms delivery to the address provided.

If delivery fails due to an incorrect or incomplete address, or failure to respond to courier communications, and the shipment is returned to the merchant, only the cost of the merchandise will be eligible for store credit. Shipping and handling fees will not be reimbursed, as the delivery service has been rendered.


DAMAGE & TRANSIT CLAIMS

Any damage or shipping-related concern must be reported within 48 hours of delivery and must include clear photographic documentation of:

• The exterior of the shipping box (all sides, including shipping label)
• The interior packaging materials
• The item itself

Failure to retain packaging materials may limit our ability to process a claim.
