Mikkel has spent over two decades immersed in the worlds of art, craft, and design. With a foundation in both industrial design and fine art, he was educated across Europe and the United States, building a perspective that informs every facet of his work.

His career has taken him through the great design capitals of New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Paris, London, and Stockholm, where he has collaborated with artisans, creative studios, and international houses.

Along the way, he worked closely with creatives such as Ted Muehling, Charlotte Lynggaard, and John Derian, and designed jewelry for celebrated houses including David Yurman and Georg Jensen.

At BON TON goods, Mikkel brings this cultivated vision to life: a world shaped by craftsmanship, narrative, and an intuitive understanding of beauty, quality, and atmosphere.
