Collaboration has long been part of Astier de Villatte’s creative world. Artists, illustrators, designers, and friends of the Parisian house are invited to bring their own visual language to the atelier’s handmade ceramics, creating collections that are unmistakably Astier yet entirely individual.

John Derian
One of Astier de Villatte’s most beloved creative partnerships brings together the Parisian atelier’s handmade ceramics with the poetic visual universe of American artist and designer John Derian. Historic imagery, botanical subjects, curious fragments, typography, and richly evocative decoration transform plates, trays, cups, and decorative objects into pieces made for collecting.
The wider Astier de Villatte & John Derian Collection encompasses an extraordinary range of illustrated and decorative ceramics, while the distinctive Marbre Collection explores another side of the collaboration through richly veined marble-inspired surfaces.

Serena Carone
Artist Serena Carone brings her wonderfully eclectic and unconventional imagination to Astier de Villatte through sculptural cups, jewellery and treasure boxes, incense burners, and curious objects that blur the boundaries between functional ceramics and art.
Rings replace traditional cup handles, sculptural forms take on the character of keepsakes, and hand-shaped incense burners transform everyday rituals into something poetic and unexpected.

Grace Coddington
Grace Coddington’s unmistakable illustrations inhabit a wonderfully mischievous world of cats and friendly little mice. Created for Astier de Villatte, the Grace Collection transforms teacups, saucers, and teapots into miniature scenes filled with humor, personality, and narrative detail.
Cats drink tea, read the newspaper, and engage in courtship, turning afternoon tea into a playful illustrated story rendered across Astier de Villatte’s handmade white ceramics.

Eva Jospin
French visual artist Eva Jospin created an intricate sylvan world of vines and branches for Astier de Villatte. Her airy botanical pattern moves across the Eva service without repeating identically, echoing the organic proliferation and variation of the natural world.
The collaboration brings Jospin’s fascination with forests and natural structures into dialogue with Astier de Villatte’s handmade ceramics, creating a service that feels graphic, romantic, and wonderfully alive.

Nathalie Lété
Nathalie Lété’s exuberant imagination fills Astier de Villatte ceramics with flowers, rings, circles, symbols, and folk-inspired geometric motifs. Stamped, aligned, and playfully mixed across luminous white ceramics, her visual vocabulary creates tableware full of warmth and personality.
The collection pairs especially beautifully with Astier de Villatte’s quieter Simple and Rien pieces, allowing Lété’s graphic motifs to become joyful accents across an eclectic table.

Setsuko Klossowska de Rola
Artist Setsuko Klossowska de Rola has created some of Astier de Villatte’s most distinctive sculptural objects, including the beloved smoking cat incense holder, five-branched candelabra, and expressive pieces in white enamel and raw clay.
Her work brings an intimate, poetic quality to the atelier, where familiar objects become deeply personal sculptures shaped by hand.

Commune de Paris
Astier de Villatte’s collaboration with the Paris creative collective Commune de Paris combines French history, graphic design, and the symbols of Paris with handmade ceramics. Tricolour references and irreverent French imagery give the pieces a spirited contemporary character.
The collaboration sits naturally beside Astier de Villatte’s Tricolore pieces, where the blue, white, and red of the French flag are reinterpreted through borders, cubes, and radial patterns.
