Collection: TERRE MÊLÉE - APTWARE
Mixed Earth from Provence
Terre Mêlée by Atelier Saint André Perrin
Ribbons and whorls of coloured clay formed through the historic craft of Apt
Terre mêlée means mixed earth. Rather than painting a finished surface, Sylvie Saint-André Perrin combines coloured clays so pattern is created within the body of the ceramic itself. Every cut and fold reveals another passage of colour.
Bowls, plates and vessels carry the movement of this process in marbled lines that can be bold or quietly mineral. Each piece is useful, sculptural and entirely singular.
BON TON goods presents this selection as part of a wider maker collection, chosen for its craftsmanship, narrative and distinctive material presence.
