Over the course of his career, MIKKEL has cultivated his expertise in some of the world’s most iconic creative capitals—including Los Angeles, Copenhagen, London, Paris, and New York City.

Celebrated for his exceptional craftsmanship and discerning eye—from the jeweler’s bench to the auction house floor—MIKKEL has collaborated with both heritage and contemporary houses such as DAVID YURMAN, OLE LYNGGAARD, TED MUEHLING, and GEORG JENSEN, refining his signature approach to design and execution.

His deep industry knowledge has led to consulting roles in fine jewelry retail and brand development for leading establishments including BERGDORF GOODMAN, DOVER STREET MARKET, RAINBOWWAVE, and HOLLY GOLIGHTLY. In these roles, he introduced and nurtured a diverse range of brands—from global names to emerging voices—such as MONIES, SOPHIE BILLE BRAHE, PROUNIS, DANIELA VILLEGAS, GRAINNE MORTON, CAROLINA BUCCI, NOOR FARES, ELHANATI, ALICE CICOLINI, and GABRIELLA KISS.

Today, MIKKEL continues his dedication to fine craftsmanship by creating jewelry entirely by hand, using ethically sourced gems and pearls, and recycled gold and silver. Each piece reflects a refined sensibility—luxurious, thoughtful, and destined to be treasured.
