Ino Schaller Woodland Animals

Handcrafted woodland creatures inspired by German holiday traditions

Since 1894, Ino Schaller has created handcrafted papier-mâché holiday figurines in Bavaria, Germany. Revived by the Schaller family in the 1980s, their glittered Santas, woodland animals, mushrooms, and festive figures continue to be made using traditional molds and techniques passed down through generations.

Our collection of Ino Schaller woodland animals celebrates the enchantment of the forest during the holiday season. Featuring glittered deer, owls, squirrels, bears, rabbits, mushrooms, and other woodland creatures, these handcrafted figures bring warmth, folklore, and old-world charm to Christmas decorating.

Every figure is painted and finished entirely by hand, giving each piece its own distinct personality and character. Whether displayed on a mantel, incorporated into a festive tablescape, or added to a growing collection of holiday treasures, these woodland animals evoke the magic of traditional European Christmas celebrations.

At BON TON goods, we curate Ino Schaller for its storytelling spirit, exceptional craftsmanship, and ability to transform holiday interiors into places of imagination, nostalgia, and collected beauty.
