Collection: Tricolore Collection by Astier de Villatte

The Tricolore Collection by Astier de Villatte celebrates the blue, white and red of the French flag through a spirited series of handmade Parisian ceramics. Graphic, playful and unmistakably French, the collection introduces vivid colour to Astier de Villatte’s distinctive ceramic world through borders, cubic patterns and bold radial motifs.

Across plates, cups, mugs and serving pieces, the tricolour decoration appears in different geometric interpretations. Fine blue and red borders frame luminous white ceramic surfaces, while cubes and radiating patterns create a stronger graphic effect. The restrained use of colour allows the handmade character of the ceramics to remain beautifully visible beneath the decoration.

The Astier de Villatte Tricolore Collection extends beyond the table to include pendant lamps, allowing its blue, white and red palette to become part of the wider interior. Used together, the pieces create a wonderfully celebratory French table; mixed with Astier de Villatte’s classic white ceramics, individual Tricolore pieces provide an unexpected flash of colour and graphic contrast.

Handmade in Paris, each Tricolore ceramic is stamped with the Astier de Villatte monogram and the initials of the artisan who crafted it. Patriotic without becoming solemn, the collection captures the atelier’s characteristic combination of French tradition, craftsmanship and wit, made for days of celebration and everyday life alike.
