The Grace Collection by Astier de Villatte brings the unmistakable illustrations of legendary fashion editor and artist Grace Coddington to the Parisian atelier’s handmade ceramics. Playful, intimate and full of character, the collection combines Astier de Villatte’s celebrated craftsmanship with Coddington’s wonderfully expressive world of cats and mice.

Created especially for Astier de Villatte, the first Grace series comprises six illustrated teacups, two sizes of teapot and two saucers. Across the collection, mischievous cats take part in delightfully human rituals: drinking tea, reading the newspaper and engaging in courtship, accompanied throughout their adventures by friendly little mice.

Grace Coddington’s whimsical illustrations provide a charming contrast to Astier de Villatte’s luminous white-glazed ceramics and subtly irregular handmade forms. Equal parts French tableware and storytelling, the Grace Collection turns afternoon tea into a miniature illustrated world, revealing new characters, gestures and humorous details with every piece.
