In this print, handcrafted in India using the bubble technique, two classic Lisa Corti motifs alternate in large stripes in shades of gold and red: the Dahlia, suggested by the fabric of an antique cretonne armchair, and the Leopard, inspired by an archaic Persian miniature.
The mezzeri, of ancient Italian tradition, are sewn and printed by hand in cotton canvas. Extremely versatile, they immediately change the mood of any room, whether on a table as a tablecloth or centerpiece, or on an armchair to cover it. This mezzero is produced in India, with traditional block printing techniques, a long artisanal process that makes each piece unique, making even its small imperfections precious.
