Founded in Paris in 1996, Astier de Villatte is celebrated for its handmade ceramics, evocative fragrances, and richly imaginative objects for the home. The house continues and reinterprets the traditions of eighteenth-century Parisian ceramic manufactories, bringing historic craftsmanship into contemporary life.

Each ceramic is individually formed from black terracotta clay in Astier de Villatte’s Paris workshop, then finished with the maison’s signature milky-white glaze. Subtle irregularities, delicate contours, and glimpses of the dark clay preserve traces of the maker’s hand and ensure that no two pieces are entirely alike.
