Since 1894, Ino Schaller has created handcrafted papier-mâché holiday figurines in Bavaria, Germany. Revived by the Schaller family in the 1980s, their glittered Santas, animals, mushrooms, and nutcrackers continue to be made using traditional 19th-century molds and techniques. Each piece is painted and finished entirely by hand, giving every figure its own distinct personality and old-world character.
