Krampus can be downright frightful! This horned, mythical creature has been a part of European Alpine folklore for centuries. Every December, Saint Nicholas (you know, Santa) and Krampus team up to visit children -- the good little ones receive gifts, while the naughty ones get discipline with sticks.
