Wolf with Blue Collar and Chain (c. 1880–1900) French Mustard Pot

A finely modeled French porcelain mustard pot in the form of a seated wolf, adorned with a delicate blue collar and painted chain. 

Produced circa 1880–1900, these anthropomorphic mustard pots were a witty addition to the dining table, combining utility with humor. The detachable lid and spoon slot remain intact, reflecting its function as both condiment service and decorative conversation piece.
