Founded in 2007 by artist Stephanie Housley, Coral & Tusk creates richly embroidered textiles that bring illustrated stories to life. Each design begins as an original pencil drawing before Stephanie translates it stitch by stitch into a detailed embroidery file, preserving the character, expression, and narrative of her hand-drawn world.

Inspired by nature, animals, folklore, travel, and the imagination, the collection includes linen cushions, pocket pillows, greeting cards, table linens, ornaments, and decorative objects. Woodland creatures, maritime adventures, seasonal celebrations, and everyday curiosities reveal themselves through intricate details that reward a closer look.

The designs are richly machine embroidered by Coral & Tusk’s longstanding production partners in India, where skilled operators, thread trimmers, and tailors bring every composition to life through carefully managed small production runs.
