Shipping

How long does delivery take?

Most orders ship within 1–3 business days. Delivery times vary by destination and when the order is placed.

  • Denmark: Typically 1–3 business days
  • European Union: Typically 2–6 business days
  • United States: Typically 2–6 business days
  • Rest of World: Delivery times vary by destination

Tracking information will be provided once your order has been dispatched.

Do you offer free shipping?

  • Sweden: Free shipping on orders over 2,000 SEK
  • Denmark: Free shipping on orders over 1,400 DKK
  • Euro Zone: Free shipping on orders over €250
  • United States: Free shipping on orders over $350

Shipping rates for all destinations are calculated at checkout.

Please note: Many estate pieces, particularly furniture, art, and other large or delicate items, are available for local delivery only or may require a custom shipping quote.

Will I receive tracking information?

Yes. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details.


Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy?

We want you to be delighted with your purchase. New, unused merchandise may be returned within 14 days of delivery for exchange or store credit.

Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless an item arrives damaged or incorrect.

Do you offer refunds?

We do not offer refunds to the original method of payment. Eligible returns are issued as exchange or store credit.

Are any items final sale?

Yes. Estate and vintage items, candles, paper goods, textiles, holiday merchandise, special orders, custom orders, and pre-orders are considered final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Please inspect your order upon arrival. If an item arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include photographs of both the item and packaging. We will work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.


Pre-Orders & Special Orders

What is a pre-order?

Some pieces are available to reserve before they arrive in stock. Estimated delivery information is provided on each product page.

Can I cancel a pre-order?

Special order and pre-order items are considered final sale.


Product Availability & Unique Items

Are all items shown online available for immediate delivery?

Many of our pieces are available for immediate delivery, while others may be made to order, available by pre-order, or one-of-a-kind items with limited availability. Availability details are shown on each product page whenever applicable.

Are estate and vintage items unique?

Yes. Estate, vintage, antique, and one-of-a-kind pieces are often unique. Once sold, the exact item may not be available again.

Will the item I receive look exactly like the photograph?

We make every effort to photograph and describe each item accurately. However, many of our pieces are handmade, antique, vintage, or made from natural materials, and subtle variations in color, finish, shape, scale, patina, or surface detail may occur.

For handmade ceramics, textiles, jewelry, candles, antiques, and estate pieces, these variations are part of the character of the object and should be expected. Product images are intended to represent the piece as accurately as possible, but the final item may vary slightly from the photograph.


International Orders

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. BON TON goods ships to customers throughout Europe, North America, Asia, and most international destinations.

Will I have to pay customs duties or import taxes?

Orders shipped outside the European Union may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or import fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient.

Which currency will I be charged in?

Prices are displayed in local currencies where available. Your final payment will be processed in the currency displayed at checkout.

Do you have a physical shop?

Yes. BON TON goods is located in Malmö's historic Gamla Staden, just a short walk from Malmö Central Station.

Our boutique combines heritage craftsmanship, artisan jewelry, antiques, and carefully curated objects for the home.
