Last Chance: The Astier de Villatte Heritage Collection

Order by September 10.

Astier de Villatte has announced that a remarkable group of its ceramic designs will soon leave regular production. These pieces are becoming part of the maison’s Heritage Collection: forms that may return only for special projects and specific requests, often with minimum-order requirements.

For collectors, this is an unusual—and genuinely time-sensitive—opportunity. BON TON’s final replenishment order closes September 10. Many of the pieces in our Astier de Villatte Heritage Collection are available to pre-order now, alongside a limited number already in stock.

A Living Archive of Astier de Villatte

The Heritage Collection spans the extraordinary breadth of Astier de Villatte’s ceramic world: sculptural platters, expressive cups, bowls, tureens, vases, candlesticks and collaborations with artists including John Derian, Nathalie Lété, Setsuko Klossowska de Rola and Serena Carone.

Every piece begins with black terracotta and is shaped and glazed by hand in Paris. The resulting variations—the trace of a finger, an irregular edge, the depth and movement of the milky white glaze—are not imperfections but signatures of the maker. These are objects designed to be used, collected and passed on.

For the Astier Table

Among the Heritage pieces are complete sets made for the everyday ritual of the table: hand-shaped cups gathered for coffee or chocolate, and expressive plates ready to layer into an existing service. Because these designs are leaving regular production, this may be the final straightforward opportunity to order a full matching set.

The Tricolore Collection

Astier de Villatte’s Tricolore pieces bring a graphic flash of blue, white and red to the maison’s unmistakable black-clay ceramics. Spirited, collectible and distinctly French, these Commune de Paris designs are especially compelling grouped together.

Last Chance to Pre-Order

BON TON’s Heritage Collection order closes September 10. After this deadline, availability cannot be guaranteed and future orders may be subject to special-project minimums.

Pieces at the Edge of Disappearance

Part of Astier de Villatte’s magic has always been the improbable abundance of its catalogue: centuries of decorative history reimagined through a distinctly Parisian lens. The move into the Heritage Collection marks a change. These designs are not necessarily gone forever, but they will no longer belong to the rhythm of regular production.

That distinction matters. A favorite plate, an eccentric vessel or the final piece needed to complete a table may become difficult to obtain once current stock is exhausted. September 10 is therefore the moment to secure the pieces you have considered—or to begin a collection with a form that may soon become rare.
