News from Astier de Villatte

Each season, Astier de Villatte expands its singular world with new forms, new collaborations, and new expressions of its unmistakable ceramic language. Handmade in Paris using traditional techniques, these pieces carry the marks of the hand, subtle irregularities, soft white glazes, and a sense of history that feels both immediate and enduring.

This latest collection introduces a series of objects that move between the decorative and the poetic, from tableware inspired by distant landscapes to sculptural incense burners and playful, highly detailed collaborations. All pieces are available now by exclusive pre-order at BON TON goods, with delivery expected in June.

Astier de Villatte Istanbul Service

The Istanbul Service

Six pieces with contours and rims decorated with a succession of arabesques and scrolls, freely evoking an imagined Orient. The Istanbul Service introduces a subtle ornamental rhythm to the table, intricate without excess, expressive without weight.

Each piece is ceramic, handmade in Paris, stamped with the Astier de Villatte monogram and the initials of the artisan who crafted it.

Astier de Villatte Monument Incense Holders

The Monument Collection

A series of three mini-monumental incense burners, each animal poised atop an imposing pedestal, modelled on the lion of Place Denfert-Rochereau in Paris. These pieces elevate the ritual of incense into something architectural, almost ceremonial.

The frog, webbed foot pressed to its heart, holds its trophy cup; the cat sits in measured authority beside a pine cone incense holder; the penguin stands composed and deliberate. Each is at once playful and resolute, a sculptural object with presence well beyond its scale.

Astier de Villatte Serena Collection Radish Pieces

The Serena Collection

A continued collaboration with the artist Serena Carone brings forward a world of objects that feel at once intimate and unexpected. Rings replace traditional handles on cups, transforming function into adornment, while butter dishes and boxes take on playful, almost narrative forms.

Among the newest additions are the radish butter dish and radish box, alongside delicately sculpted pieces that balance humor and refinement. A small frog appears in relief, an unmistakable detail that defines the collection’s spirit.

Astier de Villatte Adelaide Mug

The Adélaïde Collection

A beloved collection continues to evolve with the addition of a new mug, completing a family of forms inspired by 18th-century bubble carafes. Beaded detailing encircles each piece, forming a delicate, continuous ornament that recalls jewellery in ceramic form.

Teapots, pitchers, cups, and tiered serving dishes come together to create a complete table, equally suited to breakfast or afternoon tea. The new mug feels both familiar and essential, a natural extension of an already iconic collection.

Further Additions

This season also introduces an expanded selection of incense holders, from sculptural animals to more restrained, architectural forms, alongside new works from ongoing artistic collaborations within the Astier universe.

Each piece reflects the same commitment to handwork and individuality, produced slowly within the Paris atelier and marked by the hands that shape them.
