The Christmas Market Is Open Online
Enter Midnight Salon: a celestial interior filled with handmade ornaments, storied figures, candlelight and new discoveries arriving continually.
Christmas begins gradually at BON TON goods. The first boxes are opened, tissue paper is folded back and familiar figures return beside pieces we have never seen before. Online, the Christmas Market is now open—and it will continue to grow as each new arrival is photographed and added.
This is not a single finished collection revealed all at once. It is a season unfolding: German papier-mâché Santas, spun-cotton characters, glass mushrooms, Swedish felt ornaments, celestial objects, candlelight and small curiosities chosen because they carry personality.
A celestial interior, warmed by time.

Midnight Salon
Christmas after dark
The 2026 Market takes its atmosphere from rooms seen at the blue hour: midnight walls, old wood, softened silver, warm brass and candlelight reflected in glass. Stars and moons appear sparingly, like fragments of a winter sky brought indoors.
The mood is rich but never theatrical for its own sake. It is a collected interior—slightly eccentric, personal and designed to become more beautiful as new objects find their place.

Objects with stories of their own
Begin with three pieces that capture the Market’s mixture of wonder, craftsmanship and gentle eccentricity.

The mushroom tree
Goosefeather branches and tiny mushrooms turn a tabletop tree into a woodland curiosity.

A chandelier of mushrooms
Silver glass mushrooms gather into a hanging ornament with the romance of an old European Christmas.

The swan sleigh
A storybook swan carries Christmas into the Salon in spun cotton, glitter and hand-finished detail.

The pleasure of looking again
Some collections arrive together; others appear in small groups as boxes reach Malmö. The Market will change throughout October, with new ornaments, figures and table pieces added as they are unpacked.
For collectors, that means the pleasure of returning. For those beginning a Christmas collection, it means choosing slowly—one object with character rather than an entire tree completed in an afternoon.
