Halloween at BON TON is candlelight, curious characters, and just enough mischief.
As the evenings draw in, the house becomes more theatrical. Shadows lengthen. Candlesticks earn their place. A pumpkin grins from the mantel, and a small skeleton arrives dressed for the party.
Our Halloween is less haunted house than cabinet of curiosities: hand-built spun-cotton figures by Vintage by Crystal, smoky glass, watchful animals, skulls, and table pieces with a wonderfully dark sense of humour.
Meet the after-dark company
Set the scene, not the theme
Begin with candlelight and one compelling object. Add worn wood, dark flowers, old silver, or a black ribbon. Let the characters appear gradually, as though they have always lived in the room. Halloween is strongest when it feels collected rather than arranged.
