Aquamarines & Diamonds

Aquamarines & Diamonds

A Ring in Balance

Some rings announce themselves immediately. Others reveal their beauty slowly, through proportion, detail, and the way they sit on the hand.

This aquamarine and diamond ring belongs firmly in the second category.

At first glance, the eye is drawn to a cool clarity, a sky-blue presence held in white gold. But with time, the composition reveals itself as something far more nuanced: a carefully balanced cluster of stones, arranged not for symmetry alone, but for movement and light.

A Study in Composition

The ring is composed of twenty-one gemstones arranged in a single-level gallery, allowing the surface to remain refined and close to the finger. At its center, a delicate line of micro pavé diamonds introduces rhythm and softness, twelve round brilliant-cut white diamonds, precise yet understated.

Anchoring the design is a 6 × 4 mm emerald-cut sky blue aquamarine. Its geometry offers contrast to the surrounding stones, introducing structure without severity. This central aquamarine is flanked by seven round brilliant-cut white diamonds in varying sizes, each burnished into bubble-like links that lend the ring its organic quality.

Completing the composition is a 3 mm round-cut sky blue aquamarine, set in a discreet three-prong basket. Rather than competing for attention, it acts as a quiet counterpoint, extending the line and reinforcing the sense of flow across the ring’s surface.

Materials and Making

Fashioned in 14k white gold, the ring balances durability with softness. The metal’s cool tone complements the aquamarines beautifully, allowing their color to remain luminous without becoming icy.

The diamonds, totaling approximately 0.16 carat, are round brilliant cut, color F with SI clarity. They provide light and texture rather than dominance, enhancing the composition as a whole. The aquamarines, totaling approximately 0.60 carat, bring a sense of calm and openness, their sky-blue hue shifting subtly with movement.

Each element is handmade, a process that allows for the nuanced setting and burnishing that gives the ring its distinctive character.

Designed to Be Worn

This is not a ring designed for spectacle alone. Its single-level gallery and thoughtful proportions make it exceptionally wearable. It sits comfortably on the hand, inviting daily wear rather than demanding occasion.

Whether worn as a personal statement, a right-hand ring, or layered thoughtfully with other pieces, it carries a sense of quiet confidence. The kind of jewelry that becomes part of a life, rather than a moment.
