Trudon Candles

French candlelight since 1643, perfume, history, and atmosphere

Founded in 1643, Trudon is the world’s oldest surviving candle maker, a French heritage house renowned for its exquisite wax, complex perfumes, and regal history. Once the official supplier to the court of Louis XIV and the churches of Paris, Trudon continues to light the world’s most elegant homes with its iconic scented candles.

Each candle is hand-poured in Normandy using a secret blend of vegetal wax, then finished in signature glass vessels made in Vinci, Italy. The scents are developed with master perfumers and built in layers, equal parts story and sensation, designed to transform a room and linger like memory.

From the first strike of a match to the final warm note in the air, Trudon turns fragrance into ritual, candlelight into ceremony.

Tip: For a BON TON ritual, trim the wick, light 1 hour at a time, and pair a classic Trudon vessel with tapered candlelight for the evening.
