New & Restocked: Charvet Éditions for the Everyday Kitchen

New & Restocked

Fresh colour, familiar texture, and the quiet usefulness of beautifully woven cloth: a new delivery from Charvet Éditions is taking shape at BON TON goods.

Charvet Éditions Bistrot linen tea towels hanging in a French kitchen

A French household essential

Charvet Éditions has been weaving in Armentières since 1866. Its tea towels are not precious in the usual sense; their beauty comes from honest materials, useful proportions, and cloth that becomes softer and more personal with every wash.

This arrival brings together new designs, new colourways, and welcome returns from the Country, Bistrot, Lustucru, Drapeau, Piano, Paris, and Made in France families. Several of the newest colours are still being prepared for the shop, so we are gathering everything through the main Charvet Éditions collection as it becomes available.

New colour, familiar cloth

Country expands with Fox, Ivoire, Laurier, and Souris: earthy rust, soft ivory, gentle green, and a useful mouse grey. Bistrot welcomes Noir and Rouge, with Lin/Noir also being prepared. These shades feel new without disturbing the calm, practical character that makes Charvet so easy to live with.

The point is not simply to own another tea towel. It is to choose the one you instinctively reach for—the cloth that dries well, looks good hanging from a hook, wraps a loaf of bread, lines a basket, and earns its place through use.
